This short film was directed by Saschka Unseld at Passion Pictures. Music produced by Grammy winning producer Blake Mills with vocalists Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes) and Jim James (My Morning Jacket).
'A Love Story' received 2 x Daytime Emmy Nominations (Outstanding Special Class Animated Program and Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program).
THE SCARECROW
This short film and iOS game was created with Academy Award winners Moonbot Studios.
The song 'Pure Imagination' was produced by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross. Grammy winner Fiona Apple sings on the track.
This work was greatly awarded with highlights including multiple Grand Prix Cannes Lions (PR, Cyber), the Annie Award for Best Special Animated Production, 2 x Daytime Emmy Awards, a Grand Clio, and 5 x Webby Awards. The Art Director's Club, D&AD, One-Show, ANDY Awards, AICP, Epica Awards, Association of Music Producer's Awards, IAB MIXX and Hollywood A-List Awards also awarded the work.
BACK TO THE START
This film itself was highly awarded, including winning the Grand Prix in Film at Cannes Lions, the Grandy for Best In Show at the Andy Awards, the Grand Clio at the Clio Awards, and Best In Show at The One Show Entertainment Awards, among others.
The animated effort 'Back to the Start' tells the story of a Pig Farmer who keeps true to his roots, and Chipotle's values. Based on a true story.
For the film, we recorded Grammy winning icon Willie Nelson covering Coldplay's classic 'The Scientist.'
After airing the film 1 time on TV during the Grammy Awards, the song became #1 on the iTunes Country Charts earning sizeable contributions to the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation. After the film successfully ignited a discussion about sustainable farming practices, Willie Nelson decided to put the track on his latest record with Chipotle's logo included in the credits.
SILENT
We helped Dolby change their marketing strategy in moving them from an ingredient brand to a story-telling brand. This short film launched the new approach.
'Silent' was acquired by Netflix, the first piece of short-form Branded Content to live on the platform.
This work premiered as part of the 2014 Academy Sci-Tech Awards ceremony and won 2 x Daytime Emmy Awards (Outstanding Special Class Animated Program, Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program). The film also received an additional 3 x Daytime Emmy nominations.
This film was created with Academy Award winning Moonbot Studios. Academy Award nominated Steve Boeddeker was brought on to create the Sound Design.

THE POLAR BEARS
After 83 years, Coca-Cola decided to think bigger and use their iconic Polar Bears to create an entertainment franchise.
A world class team was assembled to complete the short film: Executive Producer Ridley Scott, Director John Stevenson, and Writer Dave Reynolds. Animal Logic was brought on to animate.
After years in development, the franchise launched with a 6 minute film.
It was the first time the Polar Bears spoke, and the first time they embodied the brand without drinking the product.
The film won the People's Voice Webby Award for Branded Entertainment and was also awarded by the AICP and Clios for excellence in Branded Entertainment & Content. It also received an Annie nomination for Best Animated TV/Broadcast Commercial and a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Best Ensemble Cast in Animation.

THE STORY OF HUNGRY
CAA partnered with Share Our Strength to support them in their effort to feed hungry children. The first effort in our partnership was to create a book telling the story of what if feels like to be hungry through the eyes of a child.
When they asked if it could be turned into a short film, I jumped at the chance to help.
An amazing team of talents including Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, Sundance director Julia Pott, and record producer Justin Stanley were assembled to help create the project pro-bono.
REDU MANIFESTO
This short film launched the Redu Brand, an effort financed by Microsoft bing. Redu was built to shed light on the current status of America's hurting public education system. This effort was directed by Hunter Gatherer. The voice-over is performed by Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim.
Redu won a Webby Award for its outstanding contributions to pro-social good. I was honored to deliver the 5 word speech.
