In October 2015, AB InBev celebrated the “Fun of Fear” in Buenos Aires with Argentina’s biggest beer brand, Quilmes. For the creation of this multi-dimensional platform, global lead agency CAA Marketing partnered with one of the most successful horror producers of all time, Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions.

The campaign created a cultural phenomenon nationwide. Zona Paranormal, the program centerpiece, was a 30-day live immersive horror experience that sold out within 24 hours of launch for 10,000 people in an abandoned warehouse in Buenos Aires.  It was supported by a multi-dimensional promotional campaign of horror TVC’s, OOH, digital, social, stunts, retail activations and parties for consumers around the country.

A food, music, and ideas festival.

Cool bands.  Awesome food.

This 8 hour live event attracted 17,000 people in Year 1. In Year 2 we expanded to 2 markets attracting 42,000 people. In Year 3 we expanded to 3 markets attracting over 100,000. The Cultivate Festival is now in it's sixth year and continues to scale and activate in different major cities across the US.

In setting up the first year of the festival, my role was to produce from conceptual development to physical production.

Event Producers: C3 Presents

THE BINGATHON

The first ever live, interactive experience on Hulu

The Bingathon was an 82 minute telethon of sorts created to help launch bing.com. The show was hosted by Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, and Fred Willard. Through a pop-out window that appeared underneath the live stream on Hulu, users were prompted to use the search engine which then motivated the action on-screen.

This work earned a Gold Pencil at the One Show Entertainment Awards.

RE:FORM SCHOOL

Re:Form School, a REDU project, was an art show featuring pieces from over 150 prominent contemporary artists.

Each artist created original works inspired by the theme of education. We converted an abandon school in Manhattan's Lower East Side into an amazing gallery, complete with workshops by MCs, fine artists, and educators.

Below is a recap of the weekend and a selection of some of what was created for the show.

The REDU campaign (Rethink. Rebuild. Reform Education.) was awarded the Webby for Activism. (I gave the 5 word speech.)

THE PERFECT PROJECT

To help Richard Branson launch V Australia Airlines,we hired American fashion designer Steven Alan and sent him on the Perfect Vacation to Australia to get him inspired. His mission: create the Perfect Bag for traveling Down Under.

He did, and we sold it in his stores.
